About this event
Gain a clear understanding of the home care landscape and discover what it takes to succeed in this sector.
Are you considering a future in the home care sector?
Registration is just the beginning, are your systems built to last?
Whether you’re new to aged care or looking to expand your understanding of how the system works, this event is designed to provide a practical and insightful introduction to home care and navigating the pathway to become a registered or associated provider.
Becoming an approved aged care provider is a significant milestone but it comes with a range of responsibilities that require careful planning, strong systems, and a clear understanding of regulatory expectations.
As the sector moves toward the new Aged Care Act and the introduction of the Support at Home Program, compliance expectations are evolving. The Commission is placing greater emphasis on provider capability, governance, risk management, and quality assurance, not just at the point of registration, but throughout the entire provider lifecycle.
