About this event

🌟 Are you ready to take the next step and apply to become a registered aged care provider under the new Aged Care Act 2024?

🌟 Are your governance and quality systems strong enough to pass registration scrutiny?

🌟 Want to feel confident your application will succeed the first time?

If you’re ready to apply to become a registered aged care provider, this hands-on, in-person workshop will give you the clarity, structure, and confidence to move forward with success.

Becoming a registered provider is a major achievement, but it requires more than completing an application. The Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission now expects providers to demonstrate strong capability across governance, risk management, quality assurance, and service delivery systems right from the start.

Over one and a half days, you’ll work alongside LPA’s experienced consultants to translate regulatory requirements into real, practical systems that meet Commission expectations.

LPA has supported providers for over sixteen years and during this time have guided hundreds of new providers through the registration process, ensuring they have the structure in place for the highest chance of being approved. Not only do we support you in becoming a registered provider, but we also offer ongoing support to ensure your business model is sustainable for the long term.

Day 1 focuses on understanding the registration model, documentation requirements, and the evidence of compliance. On Day 2, you’ll put it all into practice. refining your own business strategy, with direct feedback from LPA experts to ensure your approach is robust and audit-ready.

At Lorraine Poulos and Associates (LPA), we specialise in helping providers turn reform knowledge into sustainable capability. This workshop is designed for those who want to do more than learn – it’s for those ready to apply, prepare confidently, and build a strong foundation for long-term success under Support at Home.

🔥 Event Overview

This 1.5-day in-person workshop, is designed specifically for organisations and individuals who are ready to move from planning to action. You’ll gain the clarity, structure, and practical tools needed to submit a confident, compliant, and capability-driven registration application under the Support at Home Program.

Across two days, participants will work through every stage of the registration process – from understanding the Single Provider Registration Model and the six registration categories, to developing the evidence required to demonstrate governance, quality, and risk management capability.

Unlike traditional information sessions, this workshop focuses on turning theory into practice. Attendees will leave with tangible outcomes, including draft governance structures, a compliance action plan, a business strategy canvas, and the confidence to take the next step toward registration success.
